Your idea → your setup → your shoot sheet

A maternity shoot you can walk onto set with.

Choose soft light, dramatic shadows, a gown portrait, silhouette, outdoor session or family photograph. Get a proposed placement, camera settings, meter goals and a short shot list. Add real readings for a measured power adjustment.

Save your plan, make an on-set field card, or print a shoot sheet with the diagram and room for your actual settings. No AI request is needed to build the planner.

A practical maternity plan from setup to keeper frame

Choose a look, set your constraints and work from proposed goals to verified readings. Save the result, print the shoot sheet or send the plan to the Photography Coach.

  1. Choose soft light, dramatic shadows, gown and rim, silhouette, outdoor or family. Confirm your gear and placement.
  2. Review the simple plan and checks. Meter with the dome toward the camera and enter actual readings for a power adjustment.
  3. Make test frames, record keeper settings, then print or save an on-set field card.
Worked example

At a face goal of f/8, a bump half a stop lower meters about f/6.7, or f/5.6 plus five tenths. These are regional meter goals; the camera uses one aperture.

Does the planner calculate power from a Godox model?

No. It needs a flash-only meter reading at the planned position, ISO and modifier, with normal full-pulse capture confirmed.

Can I print the plan?

Yes. Build the plan and choose Print / save PDF. The sheet includes a placement diagram, exposure goals, shot order, checklist and room for actual settings.

Does it support partners and children?

Yes. The family look includes modeled light variation and depth-of-field checks. Verify every face and the near and far eyes.
